USE Five-Year Homeowner's Parts Warranty
Utility Service Express LLC stands by its work to give you peace of mind. If any part you purchase from Utility Service Express fails within five years of its installation by Utility Service Express, Utility Service Express will come to your home, remove the defective part, repair it or replace it (at Utility Service Express' option). You will pay nothing for the replacement part we furnish, but you will be obligated to pay Utility Service Express' standard labor charges for this task, unless failure of the part was due to faulty installation by us. Please recognize that Freon leaks can be extremely difficulty to locate. Our warranty applies only to the replacement part(s) we use to correct Freon leaks we find.
However, if you notify us within 90 days of our repair service that your unit still leaks Freon, we will perform a diagnostic inspection at no charge. If our diagnostic inspection reveals that continued Freon loss is caused by a leak we did not find before, during our prior call, we will fix this leak and waive all trip charges and diagnostic fees, so the amount you pay will be the same as what you would have paid had we located the additional leak during our prior call.
Utility Service Express' five-year Homeowner's Warranty does not apply if the system involved has been repaired, modified, relocated, or otherwise affected by a party other than a bona fide Utility Service Express representative, or if the part's failure can be attributed to something other than normal wear and tear, such as an act of God, intentional abuse, or domestic water problems. Your SERVICE TICKET is the only document available to prove that a part is covered by the warranty. Please be certain to keep it in a safe place.
Present your service ticket to your Utility Service Express representative at the time of service. This warranty program does not apply to commercial projects.
PRICING:
Our pricing has two components, the "task" and possible "add-ons". The task is the primary job to be done on a system. The add-on is a variable that sometimes accompanies or could be a factor in the price of a particular job.
The task and add-on prices are determined by the wholesale cost of the material which is marked-up by a percentage to cover overhead expenses and a small profit.
In addition, the price of each task includes a tool allowance (disposable protective clothing, etc.)
The standard rate is our regular price for work done during normal working hours or for work prescheduled later in the afternoon or for Saturday. Customers with a Homeguard service agreement receive a 10% discount (value rate) on all jobs.
Residential Plumbing and HVAC calls require a service charge for travel/diagnostic expenses:
Plumbing (residential only)

Emergency service rate diagnostic/travel prior to 9:00pm $129.00
Emergency service rate diagnostic/travel between 9:00pm & 6:00am $229.00

TERMS:
Payment is due at the time of service. If a bill is not fully paid within 30 days the customer is responsible for a service charge and all costs and expenses incurred by the company in its effort to effect collection. The service charge is 1.5% per month, or any fraction thereof, computed from the date of service to the date when the full amount due is collected. Collection costs and expenses include, but are not limited to: bank charges associated with insufficient funds, a stopped check, a closed account, or another cause, costs of collection and attorney's fees.
ACCA MANUAL J HEAT LOAD ANALYSIS WAIVER:
Some jurisdictional HVAC code boards require contractors to include an ACCA Manual J heat load analysis when an entire system is replaced or upgraded. Our fee for this analysis starts at $300 for a single system home. Some customers feel that this analysis and associated extra cost is not necessary due to the fact that existing equipment BTU ratings have proven sufficient for their comfort. As a consumer you have the right to waive this analysis. If you live in a jurisdiction which requires an ACCA Manual J heat load analysis for HVAC unit replacements and wish to waive this analysis simply let our representative know and you will be allowed to sign a waiver to this effect on your proposal contract.
If you wish to have the ACCA Manual J heat load analysis done, the $300 {minimum} fee is non-refundable and must be paid in advance. No work shall commence until the ACCA Manual J heat load analysis is completed (or a waiver is signed) and you are explained all other options.
